The Histostem method involves a series of injections of their proprietary stem cell agent, “Histo-Endostem.” The agent is introduced just below the scalp, and studies are in progress to evaluate the hypothesized action of boosting the metabolism and rejuvenating the hair follicles. Lucrative Domestic and International Markets

According to the conservative estimates of the 2007 International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery Report, the worldwide market for Hair Restoration surgery is estimated at $1.2 Billion USD. Other sources place it at 2-3 times that level. In a 2004 study done by Merck, the U.S. market was estimated at $84 Million.

Amstem Development Plans

AmStem plans to make this treatment available closer to the U.S, in a resort location to be identified in a forthcoming Press Release. The treatments will be available with or without participation in a scientific study to determine the effects of the stem cell injections. Both the treatments and the clinical trial will be performed according to the highest ICH and other international standards.
